My Story

Meet Kirk Applegate,

​​I have always loved anything with a motor in it. After college graduation, I was offered a job with a major insurance company as an adjuster.  That began a 35-year appraisal career, multiple certifications but mostly an incredible insider learning experience about how insurance companies work.  I have worked with hundreds of different Insurance companies.  I know the inner workings of the industry.  

Over those years I was impressed by the unique attachment an owner often had with their vehicles.  I watched their frustration when they were up against the big insurance machine.  

Now with KWA Appraisals I want to use my insider knowledge to help my clients.  Insurance companies have many trained professionals on their side, now you can too.

 In my spare time, you’ll find me restoring bikes, autos and an occasional boat.
